WCare Health Policy

WCare Health Privacy Policy

This product-specific policy explains how WCare Health handles account, wellness, mobile, support, and app-assessment access data.

Plain-language summary

WCare Health handles wellness information only to provide requested app functionality, account support, reminders, safety, and operational reliability. It is not an emergency service, and it does not sell personal health data.

1. Scope and Application

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to WCare Health, a personal health and wellness organization tool operated by WMTAN. It governs the collection, use, and protection of data processed through the WCare Health mobile application, web properties, and related support channels.

By using WCare Health, you acknowledge that you are using a personal tracking tool, not a regulated clinical service. This policy supplements the baseline WMTAN Master Privacy Policy by establishing strict, health-specific data boundaries.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you actively provide to create and maintain your account, such as your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. Additionally, when you use the app, we collect the health and wellness data you choose to log, including symptoms, habits, medication schedules, and personal notes.

We also collect standard device metadata (such as operating system version and device identifiers) and push notification tokens necessary to ensure your wellness reminders are delivered reliably.

3. Health Data Classification and HIPAA Disclaimer

WCare Health is a consumer wellness application. It is NOT a 'Covered Entity' or 'Business Associate' as defined by the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), nor is it a regulated medical device under the FDA or EMA.

While the data you input is highly personal and treated with strict confidentiality by WMTAN, it is legally classified as consumer-generated wellness data, not Protected Health Information (PHI). You should not use WCare Health to store official medical records or communicate with healthcare providers.

4. Strict Prohibition on Data Sales

Your health and wellness data is yours. WMTAN operates on a strict privacy-first business model.

We categorically DO NOT sell, rent, lease, or monetize your personal health data, account details, or app usage metrics to data brokers, pharmaceutical companies, advertisers, insurance providers, or any other third party.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the WCare Health experience. This includes syncing your wellness logs across your devices, triggering your scheduled reminders, authenticating your account, and providing customer support.

If you utilize AI-assisted features (such as automated note summaries), your specific text inputs are processed strictly to generate that summary for you, and are never used to train generalized, public-facing AI models.

6. Third-Party Infrastructure Providers

To securely operate WCare Health at scale, we utilize trusted enterprise infrastructure providers. These include cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel), secure database providers, authentication gateways, and push notification networks (e.g., Apple APNs, Firebase Cloud Messaging).

These providers act strictly as data processors on our behalf. They are bound by legally enforceable Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) that prohibit them from accessing your wellness data for their own commercial purposes or sharing it with unauthorized parties.

7. Security Measures

WMTAN employs industry-standard security protocols to protect your sensitive wellness data. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS.

Data stored on our cloud infrastructure is encrypted at rest. Furthermore, access to the production databases containing WCare Health data is strictly limited to authorized engineering personnel on a 'least privilege' basis, and only for the purposes of system maintenance or responding to a direct user support request.

8. Data Retention and User Deletion Rights

We retain your WCare Health data for as long as your account remains active. You maintain full control over your data and can delete specific wellness logs directly within the app at any time.

If you choose to delete your WCare Health account entirely, we will initiate a structured deletion process. Your personal data and wellness logs will be permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days, and from our encrypted operational backups within 90 days, unless a longer retention period is strictly required by law.
