Wiki Map Privacy Policy

How Wiki Map extracts locations, manages photos, and protects data in a community mapping environment.

Plain-language summary

Wiki Map reads GPS coordinates embedded in your uploaded photos (EXIF data) to place pins on the map. Public photos and their locations are visible to the community. We do not track your location in the background and do not sell personal data.

我们**不**在后台跟踪您设备的实时位置。位置数据仅在您选择将照片上传到平台的精确时刻异步收集。

4. 公共地图可见性

Wiki Map 本质上是一个协作的、面向公众的平台。放置在地图上的照片、标题及其相关的地理位置对普通公众是可见的。

您必须对空间隐私格外谨慎。请勿上传无意中泄露您私人住所、儿童学校或其他敏感个人位置确切坐标的照片。

5. 数据共享和第三方处理者

WMTAN 绝对**不**出售您的个人数据或位置历史记录。我们不将您映射的位置用于定向广告。

为了运营服务，我们会与值得信赖的第三方基础架构提供商共享必要的数据。这包括云存储提供商（托管图像文件）和地图服务提供商（例如 Mapbox，渲染互动的地图瓦片）。这些提供商严格遵守具有法律约束力的协议作为数据处理者行事。

6. 安全、审核和合规

为了维护平台完整性，Wiki Map 包括强大的举报机制。我们收集审核记录，包括不当图像的举报、版权侵权索赔和隐私侵犯。

WMTAN 可能会审查这些举报，并在必要时，如果用户上传的内容违反了严重的安全法规，例如有关儿童剥削 (CSAM) 的法规，将相关数据与执法机构共享。

7. 数据保留

只要您的帐户保持活跃状态，我们将保留您上传的图像、相关元数据和地图标记。

如果您决定不再希望某张照片出现在地图上，您可以手动删除特定的图钉。删除图钉将永久从活跃的 Wiki Map 系统中删除图像及其关联的位置数据。

8. 用户权利和删除

您保留对数据的完全控制权。根据全球隐私法规（如 GDPR、CCPA），您可以请求全面导出您的 Wiki Map 数据。

您也可以发起全面的帐户删除。一旦您的删除请求得到验证，您的个人资料、上传的照片和所有相关的地图标记将在 30 天内从我们的生产数据库中清除。

User controls and assessment information

  • Requires Photos access to allow users to upload content containing location metadata (EXIF).
  • Location is extracted from EXIF only; the app does not request continuous background GPS tracking.
  • A Reporting tool is available to flag spam, sensitive content, or incorrect mapping of private spaces.
  • Supports complete deletion of contributed content and account data upon request.
